UK arts and disability organisation Shape has been joined by Steve Mannix as its new Chief Executive. He joins the organisation from the lesbian and gay campaigning organisation Stonewall, and prior to this was at Battersea Arts Centre, Graeae Theatre Company and the Albany Empire, Deptford.

Trevor Pinnock, founder of the English Concert and its Artistic Director for nearly 30 years, will hand over the artistic direction of the organisation to violinist Andrew Manze at the end of the 2002/3 concert season.

The Phone Room has appointed Vanessa Bradley as the new Call Centre Manager. She has previously run call centres in both the UK and Australia, and joins the company from her position as Supporter Communications Manager with Oxfam.
