Arts & Business has announced two new roles with the appointment of its first National Account Director, Peter Tullin (pictured). He has worked with Arts & Business since 2000 and was previously Regional Director of A&B East. Sebastian Paul will be the new Marketing and Communications Director. He joins Arts & Business from WPP, the strategic communications, events and design agency, where he was Client Group Director.

Richard Hall has been appointed Executive Producer with Horse + Bamboo Theatre. He has previously worked for the Manchester Museum, the Royal Exchange Theatre and Birmingham Rep.

Artistic Director, Celeste Dandeker, will be retiring in 2007 after 16 years at CandoCo, the dance company of disabled and non-disabled performers that she co-founded with Adam Benjamin in 1991.

Danica Slade (pictured) has joined Enterprise Insight to head the Creative Economy Campaign component of Make Your Mark, a national campaign to encourage a more enterprising youth culture. Previously she worked at Creative Partnerships as Senior Officer for Marketing and Events.

Helen Robinson is the new Marketing and Communications Manager at Wysing Arts Centre, Cambridge, which is currently going through a 12-month redevelopment programme. She was recently the Collections Manager at UCL Art Collections.

Caroline Pearce has recently become part-time in her role as Arts Development Officer at Middlesborough Council and has been appointed as freelance Development Manager for Bare Toed Dance Company, based in Newcastle.

The Arts Theatre, Nottingham, has appointed April Fawcett as Press and Publicity Officer, replacing Justyna Drobnik-Rogers, who has left to pursue doctoral research on Polish Theatre at the University of Manchester.

Opera North has made two new appointments, with Dougie Scarfe taking up the role of Chorus and Orchestra Director and Concerts Director. Bernhard Schneider, currently Chorus Director of the Nationaltheater Mannheim in Germany and Chorus Director of Seefestspiele Moerbisch, will be Chorus Master, succeeding Anthony Kraus.

Katie Teasdale is the new Marketing Officer for South West Arts Marketing and will be covering Kate Smiths maternity leave. She joins from Arnolfini, Bristol, where she has been working as Development Co-ordinator.
