News – Calling young dancers

Applications are being invited for young dancers to be involved in the next National Youth Dance Festival, due to take place in the North West in July 2007. The first National Youth Dance Festival since 1991 took place in Leeds earlier this summer (pictured), with more than 130 young dancers and 20 leaders attending.

Next years festival will be based at Manchester Metropolitan Universitys campus at Alsager, Cheshire, with a public performance at The Lowry in Salford.
