News – Board moves at SAC

A new joint Board is to be appointed for the Scottish Arts Council (SAC) and Scottish Screen as part of the Scottish Executives plans to establish Creative Scotland, a new cultural development agency which will take on responsibility for developing talent and excellence in the arts and the creative and screen industries.

Up to 14 appointments will be made to the joint Board before the end of this year, and the chairman will be appointed following an open competition.
