The new £3.5m Scottish Storytelling Centre, the worlds first purpose built centre for live storytelling, has been formally opened on Edinburghs Royal Mile.
The building houses a 99-seat storytelling theatre, an open exhibition area, a café and a library, and replaces the Centres former home at Netherbow Arts Centre. It is a joint initiative between the Scottish Storytelling Forum and The Church of Scotland.
