In the first of a series of events designed to highlight the benefits of the London 2012 Olympic Games to the creative industries, Tessa Jowell has delivered a speech highlighting the opportunities for a positive legacy for the UKs media and creative industries.
The speech, delivered to the Westminster Media Forum, discussed the opportunity 2012 presented to “demonstrate the energy, creativity and vitality of the UKs media and creative industries on the world stage,” and highlighted the specially designed media centres that will form “a hub for creative industries in east London after the Games”.
