Two artists have been commissioned to make first use of the newly opened Creative Archive of material from the BBC, the BFI, Channel 4 and the Open University. The artists, Vicki Bennet (whose work is pictured) and Chris Dorley-Brown will take up four-month placements funded by Arts Council England and hosted by the BBC

They will be encouraged to manipulate, mix and rework material from the contributing organisations to create a series of artworks. The Creative Archive offers a wide range of moving images, audio and stills which the public can download and rework creatively for non-commercial use.
