The Crafts Council has announced that Rosy Greenlees (pictured), currently Director of the London Centre for Arts and Cultural Enterprise, is joining as its new Director. Joanna Foster CBE is the organisations new Chair, and Julian Stair, a Crafts Council Trustee since 2000, will take on the new role of Deputy Chair.

Robert Moffat has joined the vocal ensemble The Sixteen as its General Manager, and Costa Peristianis has been appointed as the groups Concerts Director.

Stephen Powell has been appointed as Creative Director of Lanternhouse, a new company that will be involving many of the artists and staff who have worked previously with Welfare State International. WSI has now closed with the departure of Artistic Director, John Fox, who has left to pursue a freelance career.

The Liverpool Culture Company has appointed Jason Harborow (pictured) as its new Chief Executive. He has been the Companys Chief Operating Officer for more than a year and will now be responsible for managing the delivery of events and programmes in the run up to and during Liverpools year as European Capital of Culture in 2008.

Kieran Cooper, currently Director of the consultancy Catalyst Arts, has been appointed as a Director of Facultas, UK distributors of the email marketing software Lyris.

Tracy Cooper (pictured) has joined artsdepot as its Director, following five years as Head of Business Development and Marketing at the Royal Albert Hall. She succeeds Alison Duthie, who has left to pursue a freelance career.

Alice Hartmann, Press and Media Relations Manager for Komedia and Aurora Nova, is leaving to pursue a freelance career.

Louise Mitchell has been awarded a Cultural Leadership Investment of £47,000 by NESTA (the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts) and will be taking time out from her position as Director of Glasgow Cultural Enterprises to undertake intensive management development training, including a period based in Holland.

Justine Potter is leaving her post as Education and Outreach Director at the Oldham Coliseum Theatre to take up the role of Development Producer at BBC Radio 4 Drama. She will be replaced by Jodie Lamb, previously Education Officer at the Royal Exchange Theatre. Michelle Temperley is the Coliseums new Participation Manager and Natalie Brown has been promoted to Education Co-ordinator.
