News  Illuminating Dance

British Dance Edition 2006 (BDE), which will take place in Leeds from 911 February, will be one of the highlights of Yorkshires year-long Illuminate Festival. BDE is a biennial showcase of British choreography, which attracts promoters and festival directors from around the world.
This year it will include Rafael Bonachelas Place Prize-winning E2 7SD, the British premiere of Russell Maliphants Transmission and Henri Oguikes Second Signal (pictured). The Illuminate Festival is part of Yorkshires ongoing urban cultural programme, which developed from Bradfords bid to become European Capital of Culture 2008.
