News  Fusing the lights

Throughout February, installations from international lighting designers will be on display in Birminghams Eastside area as part of the citys two year Urban Fusion regeneration programme. The Urban Fusion Lighting Festival will bring together lighting design students and professionals from all over the world for workshops and a conference organised by the European Lighting Designers Association.

A range of city locations will be used to showcase creative urban lighting programmes and to demonstrate the safety benefits of lighting installations. A pedestrian route will link the temporary installations with existing regeneration projects like the Curzon Street tunnel installation by Sutton-Vane Associates (pictured).
