The Almeida Theatre has appointed Jane Macpherson, previously Theatres Marketing Manager at the Lowry, as Head of Marketing. Cherry Williams is the new Marketing Assistant.

Cultural planning agency Eventus has appointed Catherine Mailhac (pictured) as Project Manager. She will specialise in community involvement with arts and heritage and will be developing new areas of work for the company.

Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra has two new members in the Marketing Team: Rebecca Jenkins and Kyriaki Karadelis.

Sally Wilson (pictured) is the new Chief Executive of Audiences Northern Ireland. She has previously worked with Wee Stories, the Scottish Arts Council and Edinburgh City Council.

Manchester's Bridgewater Hall has appointed Nick Reed as Chief Executive Officer. Currently Divisional Manager, UK Theatres for Clear Channel Entertainment, and previously Director of The Helix in Dublin, he replaces Howard Raynor, who is stepping down to establish his own training and development agency.

Darrell Williams has been appointed as the new Head of Sales and Marketing for the Festival City Theatres Trust in Edinburgh which incorporates the Festival Theatre and The Kings Theatre. He was previously Group Marketing Manager for BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm of the BBC, and has also worked for Shared Experience, The Oxford Playhouse and Reading Borough Council Theatres and Museums.

SAW Ltd, which runs Somerset Art Weeks, has appointed Michele Fone to the new post of Development Manager.

Carien Meijer, who previously directed the work of Epping Forest Arts, is the new Chief Executive of Drake Music Project. She takes over from Paul Tuohy, who left to take up the role of Chief Executive for the National Missing Persons Helpline.

Online marketing agency TradeDoubler, has appointed Sarah Escott (pictured) as Head of Consultancy and Abbie Alter as Project Manager.

Chris Murray has been named as Arts Council Englands lead advisor for sustainable communities and the built environment. He is currently seconded from his post as Director of Learning and Development with the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment to be Interim Chief Executive at the Academy for Sustainable Communities.

Libby Jones, Senior Press Officer at Scottish Opera, is leaving to become Head of Press for Select Music and Video Distribution, publicising the Naxos and Opus Arte labels.

Sir Digby Jones, Director-General of the CBI, has joined the board of Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre Trust. The appointment follows the recent announcement of new Trustees including Paul Bassi of Bond Wolfe, Ronnie Bowker of Ernst & Young and Ian Squires of ITV.
