The work of acclaimed Magnum photographer Steve McCurry will feature in the inaugural exhibition at Asia House, the new £6m centre for culture and business in central London, which opens this week. The first major exhibition of his works in London, Face of Asia: Steve McCurry Photographs will include images from Afghanistan, Tibet, Cambodia, and India (pictured).

Asia House was established in London in 1996 as a non-profit, non-political organisation aiming to promote understanding of Asian countries, their arts, religions and economies, and to foster closer communication between the peoples of Asia and Europe. Its new building will become the UK?s headquarters for Asian affairs as well as a new destination for the general public, with a curated programme of exhibitions and events, facilities for talks and conferences, and a café.
