I am shocked that, in his otherwise extremely intelligent Essential Governance column (AP issue 107, 10 October), Rick Bond suggests that organisations should impose an upper age limit on Board members. Apart from the fact that a three-year limit to a trustee?s post covers all the necessary eventualities, isn?t there enough ageism out there already, without the arts world adding to it?
