A ten-day festival of performance and participation for children and families will mark the opening of the Theatre Royal Bath?s new £3m complex for theatre for children and young people.

The Egg, which includes a 120 seat egg-shaped auditorium, a rehearsal space and café, will augment the theatre?s existing auditorium and studio. The new space was created in conjunction with a team of young consultants who advised architects on the needs of children?s theatre organisations. It will open with a day of free performances, workshops and circus on 23 October, followed by The Wild and Wacky Festival which opens with Sous Pressions from Belgian clown company Les Witloef (pictured).
