Arts Council England (ACE) has published a new international policy in an attempt to ?put ?international? at the heart of what [they] do?. The international policy is an attempt to provide a framework for future international partnerships and an enhanced role in international cultural debate.
Framed as a broad set of aspirations, the document sets out ACE?s intention to clarify how funding can be used to support work outside England. Other commitments include the selection of a small number of organisations, known as ?domestic anchors? which are ?committed to and capable of regularly promoting international work in the UK?, and enabling ACE regional offices to establish partnerships with sub-national regions overseas. The international policy can be downloaded from its website.
