The Barclays Stage Partners Autumn 2001 Season is to feature To Kill a Mockingbird, produced by Clwyd Theatr Cymru, and The Importance of Being Earnest, toured by Lip Service Theatre Company in collaboration with the Palace Theatre Watford and Library Theatre Manchester.

The productions will tour to 17 venues across England and Wales, with sponsorship by Barclays PLC and funding from the Arts Councils of Wales and England, totalling £132,000. Launched in 1995, Barclays Stage Partners is £4.5m 6-year sponsorship scheme designed to generate new opportunities for theatre organisations to collaborate on the production and touring high quality drama. Collaborations may take place between producing and presenting theatres, touring companies and independent producers wanting to create and tour work to at least three middle or large scale regional venues.
