Twisted Roots ? new approaches to touring

Aiming to overcome fears commonly held by theatres, that plays aimed at 7 ? 11 year olds will fail to find a financially-viable audience, Pop-Up Theatre is piloting new approaches to targeting this age group by producing plays with easier and quicker get-ins and get-outs which cause no disruption to current sets or lighting rigs in venues.
The new approach, being marketed under the OffStreet Theatre banner, aims to provide venues with a chance to use their theatre spaces at times such as late afternoons and early evenings when they may otherwise be unused, and when parents and children may both be available to watch together.

?Twisted Roots? by Emily Nightingale is touring nationally from September 24 to October 21. e: [email protected]
