Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham, is celebrating its most successful year ever with more than 200,000 people attending events ? an increase of 30,000 over last year.
In addition to the 164,000 people who came to shows at the Main House and Studio Theatre, 19,000 took part in workshops and projects, and 21,000 attended events programmed by the Cheltenham Festivals of Music, Jazz and Literature at the theatre. The main house, which seats 658 people, was 75% full on average, and geographical analysis reveals that 70% of the audience came from outside Cheltenham.
