News – Two Tessas

In a major post-election shake-up of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, Tessa Jowell MP, former junior minister at health and employment who started her career as a psychiatric social worker, has been announced as the new Secretary of State, replacing Chris Smith. Baroness Tessa Blackstone MP is the new Minister for Arts, in place of Alan Howarth.
