Upswing is looking for an experienced freelance Audience Development Associate to play a key role in the progression of our new project Falling Together.

Falling Together will combine contemporary circus, stand-up comedy and film to explore the politics of power and the complexity of identity.

The Audience Development Associate will lead on Upswing’s contribution to developing and delivering strategies over the January – June 2022 period and will work with our partner organisations, Bernie Grant Arts Centre, Tottenham and Brixton House, Brixton. Upswing has secured a Kickstart role for an ‘Outreach Ambassador’ to work directly on this project. The Audience Development/Engagement Coordinator will manage this position.

We’re looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in planning and delivering audience development projects for arts organisations, and experience of engaging with a range of community groups including culturally diverse communities.  Knowledge of Tottenham/Haringey and/or Brixton areas a plus.
