Transform is seeking a Producer to join the team. We are looking for someone who is curious about and committed to realising adventurous performance, who is a dedicated creative collaborator and brilliant at making things happen.
A successful candidate will be able to work flexibly and in a focused way to bring performance projects of all shapes and forms to life. They will have a good understanding of Transform’s context and positioning, and ability to build and maintain partnerships and collaborations of various kinds. They will have the skills and initiative to manage and oversee complex projects and programmes, working with creative people and partners to make things happen efficiently and with the utmost of care.
Transform is an engine room for urgent, of the moment theatre. We are the creators of the biennial Transform festivals, citywide takeovers of powerful performance by artists from across the North of England and the world. Focused on reimagining what theatre can look like and do, we present performance everywhere from arts venues across Leeds, to city sites and outdoor spaces.
About the Role:
The Producer will be involved in all aspects of Transform’s artistic and creative programme. They will support programme research, preparation and delivery. They will lead produce festival commissions and co-productions and play a fundamental role in realising our festivals and wider programme.
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Contract Basis: Full-time (40 hours per week) (please note, we will also consider a four day a week commitment as an alternative for the right candidate, see application pack for details)
Contract Type: Employed. 18-month contract with potential of extension and for further development of role.
