This is a newly created post for an inspirational leader to develop the future of Theatr Brycheiniog. The organisation is entering an exciting new phase in its development and over the next couple of years will be working closely with Powys County Council and The Arts Council of Wales to develop an exciting and sustainable future for this much loved venue. We want you to work with us to help Theatr Brycheiniog to develop its full potential by providing the best opportunity for artistic opportunities for the region and beyond and work with the Board to secure the long-term future of theatre provision in Brecon and South Powys.
Have demonstrable expertise in business planning and operational management of an arts organisation
Theatr Brycheiniog, set in the historic town of Brecon at the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park, is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, experienced Theatre Director who will:
- Have a strong artistic vision;
- Be a clear strategic thinker with significant experience in fundraising and business development;
- Have demonstrable expertise in business planning and operational management of an arts organisation; and
- Have a good knowledge of the arts in Wales and the UK.
