The Programme & Event Coordinator will provide a vital role in the opening of The Fire Station Auditorium, providing support to the Venue Director and taking an active role in developing administration and production processes for event management. This will include diary management, contract and financial administration, show advancing and artist/client liaison for events, on the day event management, including coordinating casual and freelance team members and closing of business for all events.
The role will also support the development of business for private/corporate hires.
The Programme & Event coordinator will support the delivery of all The Fire Station’s events and activities across a range of performing arts and private events, working closely with Sunderland Culture finance, administration and marketing teams and The Fire Station’s technical and operations teams.
This is an active, hands-on role and as well as office-based work, will require some evening and weekend working. Flexible hours are offered to enable this.
