Kazzum is Recruiting Trustees
Kazzum is a participatory arts organisation providing young people with unique, inclusive and multidisciplinary arts projects. Our work enables the creativity of children and young people at times in their lives when they are most isolated, vulnerable or at risk. From unconventional theatrical work to film making workshops, family events to training opportunities in the arts, we work hard to reach young people who have limited opportunities to take part in creative activities, including young refugees, young people with special educational needs, and young people in hospital settings.
Kazzum is seeking new Trustees to join our existing board, including a new Chair and Treasurer. All candidates who are able to offer time, energy, and feel confident supporting the company at a strategic level are welcome to apply, but we’re particularly keen to hear from people with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Artistic leadership
- Corporate social responsibility
- Strategic Fundraising
- Organisational development
- Human resources
- Academic research with children and young people
Kazzum has gone from strength to strength over its 29-year history, and the next few years promise to be particularly exciting. We have recently appointed a new Artistic Director and have established a new strategy and direction for the future which will see the organisation develop ever more challenging and exciting projects for young people, UK-wide and internationally.
If you think you can help us shape the organisation during this exciting period, please download the recruitment pack here for more information about the role and how to apply.
Deadline for applications: by 10am on Thursday 29th March 2018.
