You’ll join our Management Team and play a pivotal role supporting the Artistic Director/CEO promoting creative learning, community engagement and audience development, along with other key priorities.
Based in Ipswich, but also working in our satellite venue in Peterborough, you will help us tour theatre with a sense of place that pushes the boundaries of both arts and heritage.

The Engagement Manager will lead on:
Creative Learning – devising and setting up outreach projects, finding practitioners, monitoring ArtsMark and ArtsAward, and liaison with schools.
Participation & Community Engagement – seeking opportunities for participation activities across the age ranges and in both formal and informal settings
Audience Development – creating audience development strategies, follow-up projects, working with Spektrix and Audience Finder, and responding to resulting audience stats.
External Relations – overseeing all marketing campaigns and initiatives and representing the company at a local, regional and national level.
Individual Giving – running the Copperfield programme, Friends Scheme and developing other personal giving campaigns.
Sponsorship – pursuing and getting sponsorship for projects and productions, maintaining contact with sponsors and hosting guest nights.
Partnerships – developing and nurturing new partnership opportunities and maintaining current formal and informal relationships
Line Managing the Marketing Officer and all Peterborough staff (Project Manager and Artistic Associate).
Salary £24-£27k, depending on experience (with good pension and relocation). A job share will be considered.
