Community & Festival Producer – maternity leave

Salary: 28,840pa pro rata + benefits
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

You will have experience of coordinating/ supervising teams of artistic personnel artistic planning, scheduling and programming.

About The Role

The successful candidate will work closely with the Associate Directors on the development, delivery and co-ordination of our artistic programme, with a particular focus on our festivals and animating our foyers with performances and activities.

Along with other members of the Artistic team, you will work towards fulfilling the Hippodrome’s ambitions as a significant cultural hub, developing and presenting artistic activity day and night, and matching our existing 500,000 (plus) annual theatre attendances with another 500,000 audience, participant and visitor engagements each year.

Practical production and/or cultural venue programming experience is essential as is your ability to balance both artistic and commercial imperatives, in a fast moving, creative environment.  You will have experience of coordinating/supervising teams of artistic personnel and the delivery of artists, creatives and visiting show contracts.  You must have done artistic planning, scheduling and programming.

This role is on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
