Community Engagement & Events Manager (Freelance)

Big Ideas is looking for an established or aspiring community engagement and communications manager who can communicate compelling and diverse history from the First World War, leading to meaningful commemoration and community engagement in our programmes.

Big Ideas is looking to appoint a freelance Community Engagement Manager to promote the Remember Together programme to a wide range of groups including schools, sports clubs, older people’s groups and heritage groups across Northern Ireland.

This position is on a freelance, short-term basis with a fixed fee of £6,000 (estimated at £200 per day for 30 days). Additional funding for travel and programme delivery is provided. The work can be delivered in a block or spread across the following dates: 9 July – 30 November 2018, with the appointed manager required to start the first week of July.
