Talawa Theatre Company is looking for a motivational and experienced Executive Director who will work closely with the Artistic Director as Joint CEO.
Talawa is the UK’s primary Black led touring theatre company. Our work is informed by the wealth and diversity of the Black British experience, and through that we create outstanding work by cultivating the best in emerging and established Black artists. We invest in talent, develop audiences and inspire dialogue with and within communities across the UK and internationally.
The Executive Director will provide exceptional organisational, financial and managerial leadership for the company at a strategic level, enabling the delivery of all of Talawa’s artistic work.
With a recent move to Fairfield Halls, Croydon and the opening of Talawa Studio and co-productions with Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre, Greenwich and Docklands Festival and Breakin’ Conventions the company has been busy. Looking ahead, Talawa has an exciting co-producing partnership with Birmingham Repertory Theatre.
