Open Clasp Theatre Company

Finance and Operations Manager

Open Clasp are looking for a woman with exceptional organisational and financial management skills who will work with colleagues to ensure that Open Clasp builds on its significant track record of creating high quality theatre with, by and for women and girls, and that it thrives as an organisation representing marginalised voices regionally, nationally and internationally.

This is a unique opportunity for an enterprising and creative woman who is motivated to join a thriving company making risk-taking and powerful theatre for discussion and debate.

About us:

Our aim is to change the world, one play at a time by placing theatre at the heart of transforming the lives of disadvantaged women and girls. We make truthful, risk-taking and award-winning theatre informed by the lived experiences of working-class women, women disenfranchised in theatre and society, those from minority communities and women affected by the criminal justice system. No company works the way we do; collaborating with marginalised women to draw out their collective voices, voices that through a devising process become powerful professional theatre productions, performed to audiences ranging from their own communities to the country’s highest decision-makers, performances that get people talking and that contribute to social change.

Purpose of the Role

Ensuring organisational effectiveness by providing leadership in financial and operational matters, including budget development and management, annual audit and associated reporting to funders and stakeholders. Managing IT, HR and governance, and developing and supporting income generation and fundraising.
