As the charity heads towards its centenary in 2021, we have an exciting opportunity to join our team in London in our newly-created role of Head of Events.

Leading a small Events team, you will provide strategic and operational leadership, offering an event management service to the entire organisation; developing new ideas for events to drive income, raise profile and deliver wider organisational goals. The events you create will deliver experiences for all those taking part which communicate the charity’s values and passion for music.

Successfully managing the needs of your stakeholders and working collaboratively across the charity will be vital to the success of this role. Your experience of establishing, leading and developing a high performing, collaborative, service-oriented team to deliver multiple, successful public facing events is essential.

Candidates must have a commercial mind-set and experience in delivering public facing events along with the creation of new event or brand concepts which have been developed and successfully executed. A working knowledge of the music industry with good contacts in the sector will also be required.

The Head of Events post is a new position with the charity and will report to the Director of External Affairs. This is a fantastic opportunity to join us to achieve the charity’s ambitions to provide more support and reach more people than ever before.
