Gallery Manager

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Job Outline

The Crafts Council is looking for a Gallery Manager to oversee the new national home for craft. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced and ambitious individual to take on a newly created role. They will:

  • Oversee visitor experience.
  • Maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Manage a team of volunteer and paid staff.  

In spring 2020, the Crafts Council will re-open its London public space following redevelopment. We will:

  • Showcase our National Craft Collection through a series of exhibitions;
  • Make our library accessible to the public.
  • Work with third parties on world class exhibitions and programming in the space.  

This is an incredible opportunity for someone with a passion and commitment to broadening and diversifying the audience for craft.

  • Contributing ideas for programming.
  • Creating exceptional visitor experience.
  • Capturing feedback for continuous improvement.
