British American Drama Academy

The British American Drama Academy (BADA) was founded in 1984 to enable students from across the world to study classical theatre with leading actors and directors of the British theatre. BADA aims to provide exceptional, rigorous and immersive theatre training across a range of courses for students aged 16-18; undergraduates studying abroad as part of their Bachelor’s degree, and life-long learners.

The primary purpose of the role of Programmes Coordinator is to support the successful running of BADA’s programmes in London and Oxford and the efficient running of the BADA office, and to assist the Executive.

The position’s responsibilities include: assisting the Dean in the preparation for and ensuring the smooth running of BADA’s programmes; providing day to day programme support as well as support to the students attending BADA’s programmes; assisting the Executive (the Dean and Managing Director) in the scheduling of and logistics for meetings and events; providing administrative support for all colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the BADA office in London and Oxford; providing support to the successful delivery of BADA’s social media initiatives.

The role is predominantly based in London. However, the Programmes Coordinator is resident in college at Oxford full time for the (overlapping) four and a half weeks of both of BADA’s summer programmes in Oxford. Accommodation and meals are paid for by BADA.
