ArtHouse Jersey

ArtHouse Jersey is a charity that serves the Island community and international audiences, creating a platform for artists from Jersey and beyond to create ambitious work. We believe that the arts have the power to transform lives and we want to enable the creation of art that Jersey people want to see, hear and experience. The majority of our projects are for all Islanders to enjoy and some end up touring the world, but central to all is the aspiration to make a meaningful impact in our community.

ArtHouse Jersey is currently enjoying a period of expansion and growth. To continue to build capacity and expertise in our team we are now looking to make some key appointments. 

The Head of Programme will oversee a committed production team and take responsibility for the delivery of our entire range of projects both in Jersey and overseas. The role involves all aspects from initiating, planning and developing programmes from conception and negotiating partnerships to commissioning, contracts, design, logistics and project management. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of project and budget management, experience of production and programming and be able to oversee and support a busy team. They will have excellent planning and evaluation skills and be proactive in implementing effective systems and processes that will ensure the smooth running and delivery of the entire ArtHouse Jersey programme. Pastoral care is key; the ability to guide and support the team is essential to this role. Salary is dependent on experience up to a maximum of £50,000.
