Duties of the post

Worthing Theatres, Museum & Art Galleries are seeking a highly experienced, detailed Technical Manager to play a key role in the exciting and continued development of our cultural offer.

Managing the Technical department you will lead the technical team in the presentation of professional touring theatre, gigs, corporate events, hires and amateur productions across the four main venues as well as multiple general release and live screenings in our two screen digital cinema. The successful applicant will have experience of managing technical and staffing budgets, working on a variety of shows, performances and events and of supervising a team of skilled in-house technicians and casual staff. High level knowledge, skills and experience of technical theatre procedures, H&S, lighting, audio, rigging, stage and IPAF licence/harness certification are essential.

The post holder will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the department and the business, working evenings, weekends and Bank Holiday shifts.
