Derby Theatre

Administrator: In Good Company

Salary: Up to £19,000 depending on experience

In Good Company is the flagship professional, creative and business development programme for theatre makers and companies in the East Midlands, providing mentorship, business support, resources and high-profile performance opportunities. In Good Company has transformed how artists and venues communicate and co-create exciting new performance platforms, commissions and touring networks. The programme has just been awarded a further three years of funding confirmed by Arts Council England, in addition to ERDF funding through the D2N2 Big House project.

You will need top-notch organisation skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a busy role with many strands.  We are looking for someone who is an excellent team player and able to build great relationships with varied people.  You will work closely with the In Good Company Creative Producer and our growing range of partners – now totalling ten venues led by Derby Theatre.

Duties include liaising with artists and partners, confirming logistics for events, developing and maintaining administrative systems and helping to ensure activities are well-promoted.

We positively encourage people with disabilities or from minority ethnic backgrounds to apply to join our teams as they are under-represented within Derby Theatre’s workforce. We guarantee to interview any candidate with a disability or from an ethnic minority background who meets the essential criteria for the role.
