Contemporary Visual Art Network

CVAN is seeking a passionate and dedicated visual arts professional to collaborate and work closely with the Consultant Producer, Dr Cecilia Wee, to support the smooth running of the Fair and Equitable programme.

The primary purpose of the role is to provide administrative and coordination support during the initial period of the Fair and Equitable programme. The Coordinator will also contribute to the development of the Fair and Equitable programme.

Fair and Equitable is the start of a five-year investment in galvanising systemic change in the visual arts sector, focussing on decarbonisation, intersectional practice and relevance. The programme involves invited artist working groups, sector development events bringing experts and professionals around the table to set future agendas and develop actions for equitable practice within the visual arts sector.

The Fair and Equitable programme will be grounded in lived experience of artists and arts workers who are most impacted, building on equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives that have already been started in each CVAN region.
