100 Videos Described: opportunity from VocalEyes for large discount on film/video audio description.
Are you making or commissioning a film this summer or autumn? Do you wish to make it accessible to blind and visually impaired people? Arts access organisation VocalEyes is offering 100 artists and arts organisations in England a significant discount on film audio description (AD) services until 30 November 2021 (extended deadline). AD takes the form of an additional narrated audio track that provides information about key visual elements. The opportunity is part of 100 Videos Described, a project funded by a National Lottery Project Grant from Arts Council England.
Discounts range from 40% to 65% depending on the length of the film. For a film of up to 15 minutes, you only pay £100+VAT. Short films will have a higher chance of being selected, and we also give additional weighting to projects submitted by small and diverse-led organisations.
