The Audience Insight Conference Scotland brings together Creative Scotland funded organisations and the wider cultural sector to discuss key audience insights from Audience Finder, Scottish Audience Intentions survey and other “through COVID” research.
Across two days, from Wednesday 21 to Thursday 22 April 2021, the Audience Insight Conference Scotland aims to help organisations inform their thinking as they emerge from Covid-19 restrictions and consider the long-term impact on audiences.
Audience Insight Conference Scotland is open to all. The content of the conference is predominantly aimed at Scottish organisations, however, a focus on practical takeaways and networking means that no matter where you are based, there is something for everyone.

Day 1 - Wednesday 21 April 2021

This keynote session offers an introduction to The Audience Agency’s Audience Finder dataset and will provide an overview of pre-Covid engagement with Scottish organisations to support you in your reopening planning.
1:30 PM - 2:45 PM | AUDIENCE FINDER 2.0 BETA: OUR APPROACH TO THE FUTURE OF INSIGHT IN SCOTLAND
This session offers an introduction to The Audience Agency’s Audience Finder 2.0 BETA, the new platform in development for users in Scotland, and will include a focus on features available to organisations to use as part of their reopening planning. Including features available specifically for Scottish users.

Take a data-driven approach to tour planning, digital engagement and audience development, as part of your recovery planning.
3:30 PM - 4:00 PM | COMMUNITY CONVERSATION: LIVE

Many of you will have seen the Audience Finder platform, taken a tour or started to see what it can do. In this session, we will hear from an organisation about their experience of making practical use of the tool and how they hope to weave it into being an important part of marketing planning and using audience insight.

Key findings from Covid-19 studies which have tracked the impact of Covid-19 on audience engagement, including The Audience Agency’s Cultural Participation Monitor and Digital Audience Survey, and Creative Scotland’s Scottish Audience Intentions survey.

Explore how to embed digital activity into your audience development and marketing strategy as part of your reopening planning.
1:30 PM - 3:00 PM | SURGERY SESSIONS: AUDIENCE FINDER
Free one to one surgery sessions will be available to anyone in the conference who would like to speak to one of The Audience Agency’s team about using Audience Finder, Audience Development and other research support needs.
3:30 PM - 5:00 PM | WHAT’S CHANGED? AUDIENCES OF THE FUTURE
This final keynote brings together thinking from across the two days, exploring what the impact of Covid-19 means for audiences of the future. Drawing on the datasets discussed in the previous sessions, we’ll explore implications and forecast potential future audience trends the sector may need to respond to.
