If you’re the sole fundraiser in an arts organisation, do you have a fundraising strategy? If not, this session will explore how to go about creating one.
If you’ve never created a fundraising strategy before it can seem like a daunting task. But, really, all it means is preparing before you jump in. Creating a strategy allows you to take the time to think through the best fundraising goals for yourself or organisation and plan manageable steps to get there.
This course will support you to look at what you already have and what you can develop to help your organisation to generate income most effectively.
Who is it for?
This course is aimed at those new to fundraising, those about to launch a big project in a new area or for those just looking for a refresher in a key aspect of fundraising following the crisis.
You will learn:
- Exactly what a fundraising strategy is
- How to best learn from your past performance to move forwards
- How to create a roadmap to lead your fundraising in future
- Top tips for strategy development
This course will be delivered virtually via Zoom in two separate 2.5 hour sessions.
The first of these will take place on the 27 October 10am -12.30pm. The second will take place on the 3 November 10am-12.30pm. Both of these are necessary to complete the full training.
