Concerns raised about how the Old Vic is handling sexual harassment complaints

An actor who contacted the Old Vic’s ‘confidential’ email address – set up following allegations against former Artistic Director Kevin Spacey – told Buzzfeed News he felt his trust had been breached after he received a response from the theatre’s Executive Director. The Old Vic has confirmed the emails are received by a “senior point of contact” at the theatre, who is supported by external advisers.

The Guardian has reportedly been contacted by a number of people who have worked at the theatre claiming Spacey’s behaviour was well known. The news follows the Old Vic’s decision to invite anyone who would like to make a retrospective complaint to contact them.
