LEAH BLACK has left Creative Scotland, where she was a Creative Industries Officer with a specialism in craft, to join community-led arts charity and social enterprise WHALE Arts in Edinburgh as their new Chief Executive.
The new Chief Executive of the Royal Philharmonic Society will be JAMES MURPHY, currently Managing Director of Southbank Sinfonia. He takes over from ROSEMARY JOHNSON who is stepping down after twenty years.
STEPHEN SORRELL, Director of Northgate Investment Management and trustee of HOME, has been announced as the new Chair of Trustees for Inner City Music Ltd, the charity that owns and operates Manchester’s Band on the Wall.
NANCY IRESON, Curator of International Art at Tate Modern since 2015, has been appointed as the Deputy Director for collections and exhibitions and Gund Family Chief Curator for The Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia.
ANNA DEVER has taken on the role of Campaign Manager for the Family Arts Campaign as it becomes an Arts Council England Sector Support Organisation. She joins from BookTrust, where she managed national schools programmes.
VICKI TAYLOR is leaving Hull Truck Theatre, where she has been Press Officer for the past three years, to become the new Marketing and Communications Executive for Bee in the City in Manchester, a public sculpture trail.
The new Chief Executive of the Dorchester-based Arts Development Company is SARAH JAMES. Former Deputy Director of Situations Trust, James joins from the Architecture Centre in Bristol, where she was Director.
