ACE gives almost 5 times more to local councils in London than Yorkshire

Local authorities in London received £336m in funding from Arts Council England in 2012/2013, while those in Yorkshire and the Humber received just £73m, an investigation by the Yorkshire Post has revealed. Michael Palin has joined the call for the Government to “redress the imbalance”.
