Ministers propose relaxed labour rules for child performers

Reforms released for consultation by the Department for Education could see child actors given shorter breaks and allowed to work longer hours. Earlier this year Andrew Lloyd Webber revealed that he is considering launching his next production on Broadway, because the US’s child licensing rules are more relaxed.
