London’s financial district to become cultural hub

The Barbican and the Museum of London are proposing to transform London's Square Mile into an “exciting, accessible, open” cultural hotspot to rival the South Bank and Exhibition Road. The project's catalyst is the opening of two new Crossrail stations at Farringdon and Moorgate.
