The Chief Executive of the Arts Council of Northern Ireland is appealing for its budget to be left intact after a Culture Committee inquiry was told that if the proposed 11.2% cut for 2015/16 goes ahead “some organisations will cease to operate” and a “worst case scenario” could see 500 jobs lost.
