SHAKIRA MARTIN is joining Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance as its new Head of Student Experience. She joins the college following a two-year tenure as President of the National Union of Students (NUS).
Sir CHARLES SAUMAREZ SMITH CBE is succeeding HOWARD MARKS as Chair of the Board of Trustees at the Royal Drawing School, who steps down after five years in the post.
Existing Eden Court Board Member, DON ROBERTSON, has been appointed its new Chair. Also joining the Board of Directors is DUNCAN HENDRY, Chief Executive of Capital Theatres, Edinburgh and HEIDI HALL, Director of the Central School of Ballet in London. Inverness-based Artist LOU BRODIE has been co-opted to the Eden Court Education Committee.

EMMA POWER, current Head of Strategic Marketing at the National Theatre, is joining Farnham Maltings as its new Deputy Director (Management). Working alongside Director GAVIN STRIDE and Deputy Director (Arts) FIONA BAXTER, Power will lead strategy and communications and manage key partnerships.
Chief Executive Officer of Henley Festival CHARLOTTE GEEVES is joining Bristol Old Vic as its new Executive Director in September. She takes over from EMMA STENNING, who left to become Executive Director of Canada’s Soulpepper Theatre Company last year.
The Royal Scottish National Orchestra has announced LENA ZELISZEWSKA and EMILY DAVIS as joint Associate Leaders. Zeliszewska moves from her role as RSNO’s Associate Principal Violin, which she’s held since November 2016. Davis has performed with the orchestra for more than a year.

DAWN WALTON, the founder, Chief Executive and Artistic Director of Black-led production company Eclipse Theatre is stepping down after a decade with the company. Under her leadership the company achieved Arts Council England’s NPO status, and this year it launched The Eclipse Award, a £10,000 bursary to help UK Black artists and Black-led theatre companies put on performances at the Edinburgh Fringe.
