Jewish Museum London has announced that FRANCES JEENS will be its Interim Director to prepare a new business model for the organisation and put it on a more sustainable financial footing. The Museum withdrew from Arts Council England’s National Portfolio in February and is also planning a number of redundancies.
Two previous members of Lightpost Theatre Company, MATHIAS ANDRE and CJ WEBLEY, have taken up leadership roles in the organisation. The company was formed following the pilot scheme Up My Street, a partnership project with Birmingham Rep, funded by Mind, to help strengthen mental health in young black men through theatre.

The new role of Director of Artistic Planning at the Philharmonia Orchestra will be taken by BEN LARPENT. He will join the senior management team in June, leaving Southbank Centre where he is Head of Classical Music. He joined Southbank in 2010 as Classical Music Programmer, prior to which he was Tours & Projects Manager at Intermusica Artists’ Management.
