The National Gallery appoints first female Chair

Writer and filmmaker HANNAH ROTHSCHILD will take over as Chair of the Board at the National Gallery when MARK GETTY’s current term comes to an end in 2015. Rothschild, who has served on the gallery’s board since 2009, will be its first woman Chair.
