Head of Marketing
As part of the senior leadership team, this role will also have influence over the shaping of our programme.
Salary: By negotiation and depending on experience (Salary band starts at £31,212)
Terms: Full time (35 hours per week). Flexible working is critical to the role.
Tyneside Cinema seeks an experienced senior marketing professional to lead its Marketing & Communications department. The successful applicant will take a thriving and much-loved brand and drive it forward to both increase market share and also to reach out to new and more diverse audiences and participants. Tyneside Cinema offers a rich palette of opportunities for the right person to work with: a successful specialised film programme, a unique artist film space, an award winning participation and film production initiative, a bustling hires business and two vibrant city centre bar cafés, as well as a dedicated team who have won national and international awards for online promotions.

As part of the senior leadership team, this role will also have influence over the shaping of our programme. The successful candidate will be an imaginative and innovative marketing professional; and a proven and inspirational team leader and keen collaborator, with the skills, significant experience and knowledge to support and realise the ambitions of a complex and fast-moving cultural programme.
