ArtsProfessional Podcasts
The recently launched ArtsProfessional podcast is a unique opportunity for organisations involved in the arts to reach thousands of professionals working across the sector.
To help our online audience keep up to date with all the very latest developments in the arts we would like to hear from organisations who can provide the following:
- keynote speeches or presentations from events addressing themes similar to those covered by ArtsProfessional. This is particularly of interest if there is something unusual or groundbreaking about the presentations/events.
- other audio material covering current issues affecting the arts
- extracts from training sessions lead by arts experts or other high profile trainers who may be relevant to our audience
We also have a few technical requirements to consider:
- we prefer your contributions to be sent to us as mp3 files on CD, although smaller audio files can be emailed.
- we can do a certain amount of editing in house (i.e. extracting a particular speech from a longer piece of audio). However, podcasts requiring more complex editing should be sent to us as a finalised audio file.
- please listen to your audio before sending and check the quality is good enough for broadcast.
ArtsProfessional Online is visited by up to 10,000 people each week. In addition to this potential audience, we can offer you the following:
- an e-postcard promoting your podcast sent out to over 9,000 registered subscribers
- a page on our website describing the content of your podcast and containing relevant images/logos etc for your organisation
- promotion of your podcast in ArtsProfessional magazine (where space/time allows)
- a link from ArtsProfessional Online to your website
We like to plan our forthcoming podcasts in advance, so if you have an idea which you think would be of interest to us, please get in touch.
Please note that the ArtsProfessional podcast policy is likely to change in the coming months as systems and processes improve. It is also possible that we may need to charge for certain services in the future, although we will ensure that all partners are informed in plenty of time, and there will be no obligation to continue to provide podcast material after this point.
